Tri-lakes Monument Fire Protection District uses three ISO ratings for our fire District.

*ISO ratings of a three (3) are located within the Town limits of Monument. This area has fire hydrants located within five hundred feet of each other.

*ISO ratings of a four (4) are located within one-thousand feet of a fire hydrant and located outside of the town limits of Monument.

*ISO ratings of a nine (9) are located more than one thousand feet from a hydrant or do not have any hydrants in that area.

Additional information:
-each engine carries 750 gallons of water ( We have three)
-ladder truck carries 300 gallons of water
-water tender truck carries 2400 gallons
Mutual aid from other departments would increase number of gallons used if needed.
