Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District is a Career district providing fire, rescue and emergency medical services to the Tri-Lakes Monument area of Northern El Paso County. A Fire Prevention/Public Education Program is also active in the district as well as a Cadet Program.

The district operates three Paramedic Ambulances.

Call volume for the district are:  2001 (774 runs), 2002 (882), 2003 (1049), 2004 (1249), 2005 (1586), 2006 (1779), 2007 (1773).  The fire district includes roughly 60+ square miles and a mean elevation of 7100 feet above sea level, located 20 miles north of Colorado Springs. Residential population is approximately 24,000+ persons.

It is the firm belief of your Districts Board of Directors and Leadership that a fire district/department exists to serve the public, and that our activities and operations should be open to our customers-the people living and working in the district.  Secrecy and inflexibility only raise questions and are not in the spirit of public service. If you have questions about your fire district, wish to meet your firefighters, tour your facilities, or generally learn more about
what we do for you, please stop by Station 1 during normal business hours or call us at 484-0911. Our district exists to serve our community. Let us show you how we operate and preserve the public trust.
