Public Education

In our commitment to community involvement, the Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District offers education classes for the public.   The month of October is "fire prevention" month.  Fire crews visit preschool age thru second grade students in Lewis Palmer School District 38 to give talks on fire safety.  In addition to schools, TLMFPD offer fire prevention classes to the public at their request.  Click on the "Senior Safety" link below to read about the details of our "Senior Safety Program." CPR Classes-We offer American Heart Association First Aid and CPR classes for the public.  Minimum class size is 6 to hold a class. Please  call 719-484-0911 to inquire or email Jon at jbodinsky@tri-lakesfire.com. Cost of class range from $25-$45 depending on type of class.  Current schedule of class dates are listed on our "News" page.  All classes are held at Station 1 located at 18650 Hwy 105.

Fire Safety Presentations- Presentations are free of charge. Contact (719) 484-0911 to schedule.

Station Tours- We offer station tours to the public. Please call administrative office to schedule tours (719) 484-0911

Community Service-We offer 5 community service hours to D38 high school kids.  Hours are set up with groups.  We do not accept "walk-ins."  Contact Administration to find out when the next group is scheduled.  Groups are usually offered in September,  October, March and April.

Blood Pressure Checks-Complimentary blood pressure checks can be done at any of our fire stations.  We offer BP checks at the Administration building, 166 2nd Street, on Monday's at 11:30 am.
